Meet The Planetary Academy | The Planetary Society

Members of The Planetary Academy will take journeys by the use of our Photograph voltaic System, see the superior sights of alien worlds, examine information regarding the planets which may be simple to share with family and buddies, and do their very personal observations and experiments as they uncover planets, moons, asteroids, and comets.

Each Planetary Academy member is shipped a tutorial journey pack every three months. Each journey pack has been thoughtfully developed by the education consultants at The Planetary Society and consists of images and information about our Photograph voltaic System, hands-on actions, experiments, video video games, and surprises.

Planetary Academy members can observe their journey by the use of the Photograph voltaic System for as a lot as 3 years of distinctive Journey Packs.

After ending their journey, youthful members will know they keep on a planet, in a star system, in a galaxy; the order of the planets; the important thing traits and variations between moons, typical planets, asteroids, comets, and dwarf planets; the primary strategies we examine our Photograph voltaic System; and may be launched to the concept of exoplanets and totally different galaxies.
